What this policy covers

This policy describes how World Monitor handles data for the mobile app.

The mobile app is designed for viewing dashboard information and managing optional Pro access. It does not request access to your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, or camera.

Subscription data

In the iOS app, purchases are processed by Apple. The app receives subscription status information so it can unlock Pro features, restore purchases, and show whether your subscription is active.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Local device storage

The app stores preferences on your device, such as theme, timezone, locale, tutorial state, map/filter settings, display size, and subscription sync state.

You can clear this local data by deleting the app from your device.

Public data and third-party services

Most dashboard content comes from public or third-party sources such as event feeds, map tiles, market data APIs, flight and vessel data providers, prediction market APIs, translation services, and media providers.

When the app loads maps, media, or other third-party content, those providers may receive standard request data such as your IP address, device information, and the content requested. Their own privacy policies apply to their services.

Analytics, ads, and sale of data

World Monitor does not include third-party advertising and does not sell personal data.

The mobile app does not use third-party ad tracking.

Data use

• Provide the dashboard, subscriptions, and app preferences.
• Operate, debug, secure, and improve the service.
• Restore purchases and verify Pro access in the iOS app.
• Display public and third-party data requested by the user.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences stay on your device until you delete the app. Subscription identifiers are kept while needed to operate Pro access and restore purchases.

For privacy help, contact the project through the official X profile @WorldMonitorCom. If you have an App Store subscription, cancel it separately in your Apple account settings.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app, data sources, subscriptions, or service providers change. The updated page will show the latest revision date.
